2013 Bahamas Trip

The Bahamas trip is just a few weeks away. This past Friday CCA 8th graders participated in an amazing Bahamian Feast. We thank each of you for your support of this SOLD OUT event.

Not one seat was left as we were entertained by Bahamian Junkanoo Music, an amazing testimony by a student who experienced the trip last year, and a video of the event.

Students served a Bahamian meal to over 360 in attendance and families and friends showed incredible support for this mission.

In a month, the 8th grade CCA class will experience a trip of a lifetime. Most think of the Bahamas as paradise, but the fact is that day to day life for a Bahamian child is far different from our visions of Atlantis. Our students will assist the ALC to provide Bahamian school students a science based, exciting and educational learning experience where we integrate Christian principals and spiritual guidelines throughout the day while sharing the love of Jesus. At the end of the day, our studetns will present the gospel along with a challenge to trust Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Our students will also have the opportunity to serve at All Saints Camps which is home to those neglected by the Bahamian society due to health issues. Here students will show God's love to the hurting with this very special ministry opportunity.

Matthew 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
