It begins - Day 3 Group 1

It is 6:30am and the students are just beginning to wake up. We had a beautiful night sharing stories of lessons learned and salvations as we visited Nassau's busiest tourist spots yesterday with a heart to share the wonderful gift given to each of us by the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The Bible says, "Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." (Lamentations 3:22-23)

What sustained these students through the night? What will get them through today? What will enable them to achieve, even thrive, in the days that lie ahead? The LORD's mercies. These incredible resources never really run out! Each new day brings a fresh supply of them. God is faithful to make sure we have them each day. This morning as I sit here and write this blog there is a fresh morning dew and it's a new day of amazing adventures in the Lord to come for these 8th graders. Praise be to God for making our world new and clean each new day. May He do amazing things in and through these students today as they visit the Adventure Learning Center and serve local Bahamian 6th graders and the All Saint Camps to love on the least of these.

Would you continue to pray for these students, the leaders, the staff at ALC and ALS and many opportunities to share our faith today as we meet many in the Bahamas.
